358/2 Days
Okay, so you may have noticed I keep making a lot of references to Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and how quite a few sections will probably be updated with its release. Well, there is a reason for that, as many scans and screenshots of the two of them together have led me to believe the game will provide a lot of information concerning both Axel and Roxas.Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is one of the three new Kingdom Hearts games that supposedly will be making a summer 2008 release in Japan. The game is for the Nintendo DS, yet the cut scene graphics are virtually like looking at your TV screen from the Playstation 2. The game takes place during the time when Sora is asleep and his memories are being put back together, so the main playable character will be Roxas. Therefore, the game technically takes place after Chain of Memories, but before Kingdom Hearts II. Currently, the playable characters known so far are Roxas, Axel, Saïx and Xigbar.
The game is previewed with a scene between Axel and Roxas on the clock tower watching the sunset, and then switches to when Roxas was first introduced to the members of Organization XIII. Therefore, the game should provide information on Roxas’ time spent with Organization XIII, and as a result I am hoping for more scenes between him and Axel while he still remembers him. Why did they start talking and become best friends when the other members do not appear to have anything like their relationship? What does Roxas feel about Axel? I hope to have those and many other questions answered with the release of this game.
